The federal financial regulatory agencies are hosting an interagency discussion of recent updates to the agencies’ flood insurance regulations.
Speakers from the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, Farm Credit Administration, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, National Credit Union Administration, and Office of the Comptroller of the Currency will discuss the flood insurance regulatory update announced in July (80 Fed. Reg. 43216, July 21, 2015). Topics that will be discussed include:
- Escrow of flood insurance premiums and fees
- Force placed flood insurance
- Detached structures exemption
